We rented the 2 Bedroom
"Ocean View" unit from Mario Frosio based on the description on his
web site. As nice as the community ammenities are, when you go on vacation,
you need to get good rest at night so you can enjoy the days. We are making
these pictures available to you so you can make an objective opinion on the
kind of place this is.
Here is the panoramic view from the balcony
If you look closely, you might be able to see the "ocean-view"
Here are pictures of the bunk beds
Top bunk was lumpy and falling through the slats
Bottom bunk (which is just a BOX SPRING) was too hard to sleep on
Note: I could find no sheets for the bunk beds
The bunk beds appeared to be separating at the corner
Since the bunk beds were unusable, my son and I slept on the floor
(it's
a good thing we had an inflatable mattress with us) while my wife and
daughter slept on the bed in the master bedroom
This looks comfortable, no?
Here's a toilet and shower that was built in a closet
(or at least something that was the size of a closet)
The shower head didn't have a very good spray (clogged nozzle?)
And the hose didn't have anything connected to it at all?!?
The cleaning crew left the old soap (in case you forgot your own?!?)
And there was a "spare" shower head in case you needed it
The bar-b-que grill was not very useful
Nor was it very appealing to us
(my wife cut her hand trying to open the grill)
Here is another reflection of the care put into maintaining the amenities
Sure, I'd feel comfortable using this ironing board; wouldn't you?
And if you're hot, this fan should help cool you off, right??
I can't say the counters were dirty, but I can't say they were clean either
I guess this is just a little dust build-up?
I don't know what happened to this door, but I'm sure someone had some fun
These are presented as objective untouched photos of our experience at the
condo we rented. This doesn't include the fact that there is no air
conditioning (which was not mentioned on the web site). Also, noting that no air
conditioning is available, you'd think that all the windows would have
screens to keep bugs from visiting - not the case. One of the windows
could barely be opened / closed, but it's hard to take a picture of that.
I'm not trying to tell you what to think - just look at the pictures and
make your own judgement - is this the kind of place you'd like to rent?
